Thus, rather than making each of 20+ commercial and homegrown vendors separately develop their own reports, which will vary greatly in consistency, quality and timeliness, we can provide them with a tool that relieves them of the burden of creating the report as long as they can output CSV or XML. In addition to this, creating the reporting tools offline will provide the added benefit of ensuring that the reporting logic is accurate.
